All Risk Transit Coverage
Coverage to protect against physical loss or damage to the insured’s cargo. This is the broadest type of coverage that shippers can buy to protect their merchandise while it is in transit.
Freight Forwarder E&O
Coverage for freight forwarders in the event of claims for incorrectly issued documentation. E&O coverage provides legal defense costs as well as financial loss reimbursement.
Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier (NVOCC)
Coverage for a shipment consolidator and/or freight forwarder that does not own any vessel, but functions as the ocean carrier by issuing its own bills of landing and assuming shipment responsibility. Coverage attached to policy by endorsement only.
Air Legal Liability
Coverage provided by shipment consolidators and freight forwarders who do not own an aircraft but function as airline operators by issuing their own airway bill and assuming shipment responsibility. Coverage attached to policy by endorsement only.
Warehouse Legal Liability
Coverage mainly used to protect warehousemen with legal defense. The warehouse receipt defines how much the warehouseman is liable for in case of claim. Coverage attached to policy by endorsement only.
All Risk Warehouse
Coverage for physical loss or damage of goods that are temporarily stored in a named warehouse location. This is a full value insurance, paying the full value of goods, less any deductible, in the event of a claim. Coverage attached to policy by endorsement only.
Bailee Legal Liability
Coverage offered by freight forwarders for goods that are temporarily under their care or custody where no warehouse receipt is issued. Coverage attached to policy by endorsement only.
Inland Transit
Coverage for goods while they are being shipped within the United States. Policies can also be considered for foreign transit. Coverage attached to policy by endorsement only.
